NDF’s Commitment to Transformative Education
Education is the bedrock of a fulfilling life, fundamentally shaping an individual's knowledge, skills, personality, and outlook. NDF is deeply committed to this principle. Our educational programs across Tamil Nadu specifically target underprivileged and vulnerable children, including those of migrant workers, daily wage earners, construction workers, orphans, abandoned children, differently-abled individuals, and children from slum communities. These are the children who face the most significant barriers to accessing quality education and struggle to achieve essential learning outcomes, and it is to them that we extend our unwavering support.
NDF implements community development interventions directly as well as through grass root partners across Tamil Nadu. Under community development programmes we respond to a variety of urgent needs including access to sustainable energy, skilling, agriculture & livelihood, watershed management, conservation, hospital infrastructure & equipment, primary health centre and disaster response.
All our programmes are implemented through collective participation of the community to make informed decisions, which leads to social stability, economic transformation and productive lives. The target beneficiaries included youth, men and women in both urban and rural areas. Capacities and capabilities of the community are built through training, technical expertise, exposure visit, demonstrations (field training), networking/linkages, job placements and counselling.
Preserving Culture and Promoting Well-being
NDF is a non-religious organization dedicated to upholding and celebrating India's rich tapestry of worship cultures and traditions. Our mission is to enrich human society by providing opportunities for a life characterized by happiness, good health, peace of mind, and the cultivation of virtuous qualities, all through the lens of God Consciousness.
A core objective of NDF is the meticulous maintenance of opulent and gorgeous Deity worship, alongside the grand-scale celebration of festivals throughout the year.
These activities are supported by:
- Annadhanam: Providing sanctified food to all.
- Renovation: Maintaining and enhancing our sacred spaces.
- Puja/Ritual: Facilitating traditional worship and ceremonies.

The climate crisis poses an existential threat, impacting every ecosystem from polar regions to tropical zones, and from towering mountains to vast oceans.
NDF stands at the forefront of the global movement advocating for a net-zero, climate-resilient future. This future envisions stabilized greenhouse gas levels in our atmosphere and proactive measures to enable both human societies and natural systems to adapt to the unavoidable impacts of climate change. We acknowledge the immense global effort required to meet this challenge, yet we remain optimistic.
Our work involves urging governments to enact ambitious policies that prioritize climate-resilient, net-zero development, energy efficiency, and clean renewable energy. We also support businesses in achieving unprecedented reductions in carbon emissions and mitigating their environmental footprint in sectors such as agriculture, forestry, and water management. Furthermore, we engage with academic institutions, civil society organizations, indigenous peoples, and faith communities to collectively champion a net-zero future.
Simultaneously, the planet's wildlife faces an unprecedented crisis. The millions of diverse species that underpin our vital ecosystems are in peril; global wildlife populations have plummeted by over half since 1970, and extinction rates are accelerating at an alarming pace. NDF collaborates with a wide array of partners to address this critical issue. Our efforts focus on protecting plant and animal species by tackling the fundamental causes of these severe threats.
We work closely with local communities and government agencies to expand the coverage of protected areas, combat the illegal trade and over-exploitation of wildlife through stronger regulations and rigorous enforcement, and influence markets and consumer choices to reduce demand for wildlife products.

At NDF, we view sports not merely as a game, but as a vital employment-enhancing skill and a powerful tool to combat extreme hunger and poverty. Upholding Justice: NDF’s Commitment to Free Legal Aid
In alignment with the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, which promises social, economic, and political justice for all citizens, and specifically echoing Article 39A, NDF is dedicated to providing free legal aid to the poor and weaker sections of society. Our core mission is to promote justice based on the principle of equal opportunity.
Public awareness, equal opportunity, and deliverable justice are the foundational cornerstones upon which NDF is built. Our principal objective is to provide free and competent legal services to the weaker sections of society, ensuring that no citizen is denied opportunities for securing justice due to economic or other disadvantages.
